BRACEVILLE - A pedestrian walking along Illinois 129 was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday evening. Lenord “Lenny” Harrison III, 24, was walking along the road just north of Division Street in Braceville when the incident occurred, Grundy County Coroner John Callahan reported. He was transported to Morris Hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 7 p.m. Wednesday night. Harrison's parents said their son was picking up cans, something he did quite often. Harrison lived with his parents in Godley. The Grundy County Sheriff's Department and the coroner are continuing to investigate the incident. An autopsy is scheduled for today, Callahan said.

MLB preview: Detroit Tigers
