The mother of a student beaten at the South Campus of Minooka Community High School has filed suit in circuit court, seeking release of the reports.

Lynette Kaleta, mother of Mark Bromley, filed the suit against the Channahon Police Department and Minooka Community High School District 111.

The complaint charged on Feb.10, 2009, Bromley was viciously attacked at the South Campus by Michael Fratto. Bromley was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria for oral surgery.

In the suit, Kaleta charged Channahon police and the high school won't release their reports of the incident.

The reports, according to the complaint, would be used to determine who has potential liability in the incident.

Kaleta asked the court to order Channahon police and the high school to release their reports of the incident.
