Christopher and Carina Blood of Dixon, Ill., are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Carissa Elizabeth Blood.
Carissa was born Thursday, April 16, 2009, at KSB Hospital in Dixon. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19-1/2 inches long.
Cindy Macchietto of Ottawa is the maternal grandmother. Paternal grandparents are Jerry and Pam Blood of Ottawa.
John Macchietto of Hot Springs, Ark., and the late Mary Macchietto are the maternal great-grandparents.
Lavona Blood of Marseilles and the late Roger Blood, and the late Ralph and Grace Akre of Newark, are the paternal great-grandparents.
Philip George Buechele-Sloan
Philip George Buechele-Sloan was born on April 29, 2009 at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio, weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces and 21 inches long.
He is the son of Damon Sloan of Morris.
Paternal grandparents are Barney and Pixie Sloan of Morris. Paternal great-grandmother is Mary Sloan of Roselle, IL. His aunt and uncle are Daniel and Mariah Sloan of Addison, IL, and his cousins are Elena, Braden, and Riley.
Sophia Ann Geiss
Josh and Lindsey Geiss of Morris are proud to announce the birth of their second daughter, Sophia Ann Geiss, born at 1:33 a.m. on Feb. 24, 2009 at Morris Hospital.
Sophia weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
She was welcomed home by big sister, Emma, 2-1/2 years old.
Maternal grandparents are Ken and Sue Watson of Morris. Paternal grandparents are Jerry and Fran Geiss of Coal City, and Melody and Jerome Roberts of Shorewood.
Logan M. Heck
Logan Matthew Heck was welcomed into the world at 4:48 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009, at Morris Hospital.
Logan was 8 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20-1/4 inches long. He was welcomed home by his parents, Christy and Brian of Morris, and big brothers, Justin, 9, and Alex, 7.
Don (Robin) Davidson of Channahon and Rhonda (Jay) Parks of Apache Junction, Ariz., are the maternal grandparents.
Paternal grandparents are Duane (Rita Harris) Heck of Morris and Julie Knobeloch-Elliott of Greenup, Ill.
Jerry and Judy Heck of Seneca are the paternal great-grandparents.
Brenna M. Jarzyna
Chris and Angie Jarzyna of Minooka, announce the birth of their daughter, Brenna Marie Jarzyna born on May 13, 2009 at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
Brenna weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 19-1/4 inches long.
She was welcomed home by Madeline, 4, and Macy, 3.
Maternal grandparents are Beverly and Mark Perry of Morris. Paternal grandparents are Jim and Karen Jarzyna, also of Morris.
Maternal great-grandparents are Marjorie Warren and John and Joan Perry, all of Morris.
Tanner John Kos
Joel and Kelli Kos are parents of a son, Tanner John, born on April, 20, 2009 at Northshore Hospital in Evanston. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Tanner John was welcome home by big brother, Caden, age 2.
Maternal grandparents are Lana Phillips and John (Dorothy) Phillips.
Paternal grandparents are Greg and Margie Kos.

Braden R. Matteson
Greg and Tracy Matteson of League City, Texas, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Braden Ryder Matteson.
Braden was born Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Texas Women’s Hospital in Houston. He weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19-1/2 inches long.
Braden was welcomed home by older sisters, Kati Matteson, 21, of Nashville, Tenn. and Stephanie Matteson, 18, of Seneca.

Aiden J. Scrogham
Brent and Ali Scrogham of Diamond are proud to announce the birth of their son, Aiden James Scrogham.
Aiden was born Monday, May 18, 2009, at Morris Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and he was 19-3/4 inches long.
He was welcomed home by big brothers, Patrick Slusser, 9, and Ethan Scrogham, 3.
