Donations can be dropped off at office

We Care of Grundy County, Inc., at 520 W. Illinois Ave., Morris, is in need of used rubber stamps and stamp pad donations.

If you have stamps of any kind, from scrapbooking stamps with designs or words to old business stamps with a business name or logo, We Care can use them. Also, any useable stamp pads or ink refills would be appreciated.

Please drop them off at the We Care office. The office is open Mon.-Fri. from 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Feel free to call 815-942-6389 if you have any questions.

Seneca to host community party

SENECA — The Seneca Parks & Recreation Board and Seneca Public Library District is sponsoring a Free Community Block Party and Concert in the Park on Sunday, June 28, at Seneca’s Crotty Park.

The Block Party begins at noon. From 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Seneca Town Hall presentation will announce the great upcoming projects developed through the Mapping and Visioning for the Community Division of Western Illinois University.

There will also be a special photo video presentation with pictures throughout the history of Seneca.
The Concert in the Park featuring Steve Sharp will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a concession stand, games and activities.
