Morris resident Kay Holsted grew up near St. Louis, where she says baseball is “almost like a religion.” Most of her 50-plus years’ worth of Cardinals baseball memorabilia is currently on display at the Morris Area Public Library.

Ms. Holsted’s most prized collectibles include Stan “The Man” Musial’s autograph and those of the ‘64 World Champion Cardinals.

This year’s MLB All-Star game will be held at the new Busch Stadium in St.  Louis on Tuesday, July 14. The Morris Area Public Library is located at 604 N. Liberty St. in downtown Morris. For more information, call 815-942-6880.
