Babcocks celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Max Babcock of Morris will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 11, 2009.

Max Babcock and the former Donna Kirk exchanged vows on July 11, 1959 at the First United Methodist Church of Morris with Rev. Harold Kelly officiating.

Their attendants included Marilyn (Lovel) Johnson, Kay (Davis) Harseim, Karen (Olson) Peterson, Lowell Babcock, David Lund (deceased) and Verne Babcock. Ring bearer was Tim Williams and flower girl was Trudie (Williams) Poyner.

They are parents of four sons, Derek (Florida), Kirk (Jeanne) Michigan, Brandon (Marcy) Germantown Hills, IL, and Shawn, Wisconsin. They also have 10 beautiful grandchildren, Lindsey (ISU), Max J., Curran and Patrick, Marie, Hannah and Jacob, Samantha, Bryce and Margaret (Maggie).

The family will celebrate the occasion over the next two weekends.
