Bond was set at $1,000 cash for a Gardner man charged with having a revoked Firearm Owner's Identification Card.

Ryan Aichele, 20, 114 W. Washington St., was arrested by Grundy County deputies Sept. 9. They determined his FOID card, issued by Illinois State Police, had been revoked.

Because Aichele has a Colt AR 15, the charge is a felony.

Public Defender Gary Dobbs was appointed to represent him when he appeared in court Thursday.
