Curt and Sue Forbes of Morris announce the engagement of their daughter, Danette Elizabeth, to Eric Edward Colclasure of Kempton, Ill.
The bride is a 1990 graduate of Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill., with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing in the fine arts with a theatre minor. She graduated in 1998 with a master’s degree in Christian education from Union Theological Seminary-Presbyterian School of Christian Education, in Richmond, Va.
The bride is currently employed as a preschool teacher at Step-by-Step Child Care Center in Morris.
The groom is a 1990 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill., with a degree in business administration and minors in communications and American studies. He has recently begun work on a Master of Library Science degree at the University of Illinois in Champaign.
The groom is employed by the Pontiac Library as director of the library and by the Odell Library in the same position.
The couple will be married on Oct. 11, 2009, at Old Central Church in Joliet.
