A GARDNER man was charged with DUI by a Grundy County deputy about 12:05 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21.

Shawn Tinsley, 25, 312 W. Jefferson St., Gardner, was also ticketed for driving with a suspended license, disobeying a stop sign and not having proof of insurance.

Deputy Darren Roach reported he saw Tinsley fail to obey the stop sign at Eighth and Oak streets, South Wilmington, early Monday.

After stopping Tinsley, the deputy reported a check showed his license was suspended.

Tinsley appeared intoxicated and could not find an insurance card.

Charged with DUI, Tinlsy was taken to the county jail where he posted $300 bond. He was given an Oct. 19, court date.
