A WOMAN was treated at Morris Hospital after an accident on Illinois 47, 200 feet south of E. Pine Bluff Road, about 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Kylie Mannoja, 16, 1363 E. DuPont, was taken to the hospital by Kurtz Ambulance. She was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and given an Oct. 21 court date.

Deputy Michael James reported Gregory Golden Leroy Ill was in the left northbound lane of Illinois 47 when he stopped for traffic.

Mannoja, who was also northbound, looked down for a second, then could not stop in time to avoid colliding with the rear of Golden's Cadillac.

Golden was not injured.
