Lewis, Hoffman marry in Earlville

Trisha Kay Lewis of Kinsman and Paul Arthur Hoffman of Earlville were united in marriage at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2009. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville.
Parents of the bride are Lawrence Lewis of Westmont and Cindy Lewis of Kinsman. Parents of the groom are Winifred Hoffman and the late Kenneth Hoffman of rural Earlville.
Maternal grandparents are Phil and Glad Lewis of Seaman, Ohio, and Harvey and Muriel Lord of South Paris, Maine. Paternal grandparents are John and Mary Frantz of Monroe, Wis., and the late John and Rosa Hoffman of rural Earlville.
Maid of honor was Violet Lewis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Silvia Reed, sister of the bride; Rose Lewis, sister of the bride; Becky Rought, cousin of the bride; and Mindy Lewis, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Benjamin Hoffman, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Seth Hoffman, brother of the groom; Ivan Reed, brother-in-law of the bride; Victor Lewis, cousin of the bride; and Benjamin Baugher, friend of the couple.
Flower girl was Belle Lewis, sister of the bride. Ring bearer was Chip Lewis, brother of the bride. Ushers were Chuck Roberson, Eric Stein and Brad and Brian Eller, all friends of the groom. Senior flower girls and greeters were Martha and Miriam Hoffman, sisters of the groom.
Officiating minister was Pastor Donald Knowles. Pastor Joe Arner of Downers Grove was reader. Organist was Jane Baird.
The reception, expertly catered by Christie Bell and family of Earlville, was held at the Harding Community Building.
The bride is a student at Illinois Valley Community College in early childhood education.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Earlville High School. He will graduate in December 2009 from Northern Illinois University with a degree in mathematics education.
Following a wedding trip to Door County, Wis., the couple is residing in rural Earlville, where they are active partners in the family livestock farm.
