Traffic stop leads to liquor charges for two

TWO PEOPLE were ticketed for liquor violations near Eighth and Oak, South Wilmington, about 1:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5.

Heather Boudreau, 19, 203 W. Jefferson St., was cited for illegal consumption and transportation of open liquor.

Amy Smith, 22, Blackstone, was cited for illegal transportation of open liquor and improper lane usage.

Deputy Darren Roach reported he stopped Smith for improper lane usage, southbound on Eighth Avenue, and found open liquor in the vehicle.

Both were given Oct. 26 court dates.
