Wilmington man charged with DUI

A WILMINGTON man was charged with DUI about 12:50 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 near Illinois 53 and Mitchell Street, Braceville.

Deputy Darren Roach reported he stopped Lardi because there was no license plate light on his vehicle.

He reported Lardi looked intoxicated and smelled of liquor. He failed the field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Lardi posted $100 and his driver’s license and was given an Oct. 26 court date.
