Man files lawsuit over 2008 accident

A man injured in an accident in Will County filed suit in circuit court Tuesday, Oct. 13, against three defendants.
Eric Lee Rodriguez filed the suit against Wayne Walters of Channahon, Talsma Builders Inc., and Sheila Smieszkal of Verona, seeking damages for his injuries.
The complaint charged Rodriguez was driving a Chrysler eastbound on Interstate 80, just east of Interstate 55, about 6:40 a.m. Oct. 29, 2008.
Walters, driving a Ford truck owned by Talsma, and Smieszkal were also eastbound on Interstate 80 when they collided with the rear of Rodriguez’s vehicle.
Rodriguez is seeking damages for his injuries.
