SENECA — Mrs. Delores May Fowler, 72, of Seneca, passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at her home in Seneca.

Born May 11, 1937, she is the daughter of Homer and Agnes Shockey. She is the wife of the late Marvin D. Fowler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Agnes Shockey; husband, Marvin D. Fowler; sister, Mildred Meyers; brother, Homer Shockey Jr.; grandchildren, Angel Pitts and Quintin Fowler.

Survivors include three sisters, Audrey Nickelson, Donna McJunkin and Sue Kern; brother, James Shockey; three sons, Dennis (Laurie) Pitts, Thomas (Nella) Pitts and Marvin (CeCe) Fowler; four step-daughters, Maria, Del, Donna and Pam; grandchildren, Nena (Kelly) Starks, Leslie (Chris) Springer, Vanessa (Brian) Crews, Candice Fowler, Terri Pitts and Nathan Fowler; great-grandchildren, Eryn Crews, Jayda Crews and Addison Dee Springer.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, a donation can be made to the village of Seneca.
