Gardner woman charged with forgery posts bond

A woman wanted on two counts of forgery posted $500 bond in circuit court Monday.

Samantha Jo Lair, 24, 312 W. Main, Gardner, is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 19. She was charged with forging two return slips at Walmart on Sept. 22, one for $147.56 and one for $126.44.

Following an investigation by Morris police, a warrant was issued for her arrest on Oct. 29 with bond set at $500 cash.
