50th anniversary: Cox

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cox of Newark, Del., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009.

Charles Cox and the former Judy Walker exchanged marriage vows on Aug. 23, 1959, at the First Presbyterian Church in Morris.

They are parents of three children, Chuck Cox of Cambridge, Mass., Katie (Rodney) Giacomelli of Forest Hill, Md., and Connie (Gordon) Cobb of Livermore, Calif. They also have six grandchildren, Chris, Matt and Ryan Cobb of California, and Mike, Thomas, and Alexandra Giacomelli of Maryland.

The couple celebrated with an Alaskan cruise within the past year and will have a family celebration in November.
