A GRUNDY COUNTY deputy arrested an Odell man for DUI about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Will Road.

Kevin Drechsel, 31, Odell, was also ticketed for squealing the tires on his vehicle. He was taken to the county jail, where he posted $100 and his driver's license and was given a Dec. 7 court date.

Deputy R. J. Knezevich reported he went to Will Road and Illinois 113 for a driver squealing his tires and located the vehicle driven by Drechsel. He saw the vehicle did not have a rear license plate light.

After stopping Drechsel on Will Road, the deputy reported Drechsel appeared intoxicated and was charged with DUI.

MLB preview: Detroit Tigers
