MARSEILLES POLICE cited four teens for liquor violations in two separate incidents during the weekend.

On Sunday, Jordyn Martin, 18, Ottawa, was charged with violating the zero tolerance law, illegal consumption of liquor and not having a rear license plate light.

Brent Davis, 19, Marseilles, was cited for illegal consumption of liquor.

They were charged after a stop at Commercial and Main streets. Martin had a positive reading for alcohol, in violation of the zero tolerance law.

Both were given notices to appear in court and released.

On Friday, Jacob Couch, 18, Ottawa, and a 16-year-old Marseilles juvenile were cited for illegal consumption of liquor on Pomeroy Street.

Charged with violating the city ordinance against underage consumption, both were released.
