A MAN wanted by Chicago police was taken into custody about 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, by Morris police.

Benedict Holubecki, 60, Chicago, was held in the county jail in lieu of $500 cash bond.

Morris police reported Holubecki's vehicle broke down at the Interstate 80 ramp to Illinois 47.

Officer Charles Newton reported he went to assist and a computer check showed Holubecki was wanted on a warrant from Chicago police for larceny.

Holubecki's vehicle was towed from the scene.

MLB preview: Detroit Tigers
