Deer runs into van near Liberty, Bedford intersection

A DEER ran into a van near Liberty Street and Bedford Road about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Christine Maioli, 40, 617 Liberty St., told police she turned from Liberty Street to go east on Bedford Road when a deer ran from the north and struck the driver's door of her Dodge van.
The deer then ran northwest from the scene of the accident.
Police later found a dead deer in the area of Greenway Motors.
There was damage to the driver's door and window of the van.
