Woman’s Club has some Halloween fun

Morris group hosts Halloween party, elects cutest, ugliest and most original during costume contest

Several costumed characters, some cute and some ugly, were in attendance during the Morris Woman’s Club Halloween Party held on Halloween night. Members played games and won prizes. They also voted on the cutest, ugliest and most original costumes.

A “howling” good time was had by Morris Woman’s Club members and their spouses during a Costumed Halloween Party held on Halloween night, Oct. 31.

Attendees played games and prizes were awarded to winners.

Attendees also voted on the cutest, ugliest and most original costumes at the party.

During refreshments, a slide show was set up to view the pictures taken during the Scavenger Hunt that night.

With the fun out of the way, the regular meeting was held on Monday, Nov. 2.

Yearbooks were distributed for the year and  reports were given by department chairmen.

It was announced that the Morris Woman’s Club would like to start a Bunco night for club members, along with the possibility of starting a Morris Woman’s Club Book Club.

Box Tops for Education are being collected to distribute amongst the area schools.

A  program was given by the American Red Cross.

The Morris Woman’s Club’s annual bus trip to Chicago will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
