Free Thanksgiving dinner offered Sunday in Coal City

A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, at Berst Center, 180 S. Kankakee St., in Coal City.

The feast will include roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, cornbread stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned green beans, pumpkin pie, rolls, butter, coffee, ice tea and water.

Carry-outs will be available in the Madonna Room.

Event sponsors include the Marthas, Coal City Junior Women’s Club, St. Vincent Table, St. Vincent dePaul, Coal City Lions Club, Coal City Methodist Church, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, New Hope Presbyterian Church, Knights of Columbus Council 1574 and the Wilmington Lions Club.
