59th anniversary: Flynn

Mary and Bob Flynn of Morris will celebrate their 59th anniversary on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009.

The couple will celebrate with a family dinner, hosted by their children, in Villa Park, Ill., on Nov. 25. Mary Schramer and Robert Flynn were married Nov. 25, 1950, at St. Michaels Church in Wheaton, Ill.

The couple first lived in Glen Ellyn, Ill. Bob was employed as an international representative with Sheet Metal Workers International Association. He retired on Jan. 28, 1992. Mary is a housewife.

The couple have three sons, Patrick (Janet) of Lisle, Ill., Timothy (Wendy) of Villa Park and Thomas (Wilma) Flynn.

They also have three daughters, Kathy (Terry) of Casey, Ill., Christine (Jim) of Lewistown, Mo., and Mary Beth Flynn of Villa Park. They also have 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
