Benjamin Dalziel

WILMINGTON — Mr. Benjamin "Scotty" Dalziel, 96, of Wilmington, Ill., passed away, Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, Ill.

He retired from DOW Chemical Company in Channahon after several years of employment as a security guard.  He was also a veteran of the United States Army, having served during WWII.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington.
