ROAD CONDITIONS were blamed for a driver going off Nettle Creek Road, south of Minooka Road, about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Fernando Aguirre, 27, North Riverside, was not injured.

Deputy Dan Budde reported Aguirre was northbound on Nettle Creek Road when he lost control of the Chevrolet van on the slush covered road. The van went into the west ditch where it rolled once and landed on its wheels.

Because of the hazardous road conditions, the van was not immediately removed from the ditch.
