BRACEVILLE — Mrs. Evelyn Cecelia Decker, 81, of Braceville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at her home.

Born Jan. 12, 1928, in Braceville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cecelia (Jewett) Perino.

Evelyn retired from the Fox Center in Dwight after more than 20 years of employment. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and cooking.

Survivors include five sons, Richard (Gail) Decker of Braceville, Steve (Lisa) Decker of Chelsea, Ala., Kenneth (Sabrina) Decker of Woodward, Iowa, Roger Decker of Gardner and David (Toni) Decker of Braceville; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Helen) Perino and Robert (Lois) Perino, both of Braceville; one sister, Delores (Joe) Talbert of Braceville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Donald Decker; daughter, Susan Krone; son, Dean Decker; and two sisters, Josephine Jamiet and Jean McKee.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel.

Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to the United Methodist Church in Braceville would be appreciated.
