Police find alcohol, cite teenager

A BRACEVILLE teenager was charged with illegal consumption of liquor about 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.

Ashley Ritter, 17, 502 David, Braceville, was given a Dec. 28 court date.

Deputy Darren Roach reported he stopped a Ford near 105 Center St. in Gardner because it did not have a front bumper or front license plate.

The deputy reported that when Ritter, a passenger, got out of the vehicle, he saw a bottle of Smirnoff Ice on the floor by her purse.
