Morris woman charged with DUI

MORRIS POLICE charged Heather Leiter, 22, 1935 W. Southmor Road, with DUI on Sunday, Jan. 24.

Officer Curtis Kneller reported he saw Leiter drive over a yellow line at Division St. and Bedford Road.

After stopping Leiter, Kneller reported she smelled of liquor and appeared intoxicated. She failed the field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Also charged with improper lane usage, Leiter posted $100 and her driver's license as bond. She was given a March 1 court date.
