Dennis Turner, 35, 900 S. Main, Mazon, was placed on conditional discharge for two years with 60 days in the county jail for DUI. He began serving the sentence Tuesday, Jan. 26. He was also fined $675, ordered to undergo an valuation and attend a victim impact panel. He was charged Feb. 5, 2009, at Lisbon and Bedford Road.

Charges of driving with a suspended license and squealing the tires on his car were dismissed.

Jan. 6 charges of taking hot dogs and milk from the Minooka Pilot and driving with a suspended license were dismissed.

Nicholas Meents, 30, 226 Will Road, Diamond, was placed on supervision for two years and fined $675 for DUI. He was ordered to attend a victim impact panel. He was charged Nov. 7 near Division and Benton streets by Morris police. An improper lane usage charge was dismissed.

Tracy Weatherford, 40, Braidwood, was placed on supervision for two years, fined $1,075 and ordered to attend a victim impact panel for DUI. Charged Sept. 10 on U.S. 6, near Tabler Road, tickets for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage were dismissed.

Desamy Hearn, 19, Rock Island, was placed on supervision for six months and fined $595 for possession of marijuana, March 17, 2008, on Interstate 80 at Illinois 47.

Neil McEvilly, 27, 304 Wabasso Place, Minooka, was placed on supervision for six months and fined $695 for possession of 2.5 to 10 grams of marijuana Dec. 23 at 304 Wabasso Place, Minooka. A possession of drug paraphernalia charge for having a pipe was dismissed.

Thomas Sadowsky, 19, 1512 Donegal, Minooka, was placed on supervision for six months and fined $595 for possession of marijuana. A possession of drug paraphernalia charge for having a pipe was dismissed.

Joseph Alksnis, 19, 414 Center St., Gardner, was placed on supervision for one year and fined $595 for possession of marijuana Dec. 29 at Jackson and Main streets, Gardner.

A battery complaint was dismissed against Cynthia Fossett, 50, 1029 Wauponsee St. She was charged July 5 with punching Janeth Connor-Grogg in the head.

Shawn Clifford, 38, 625 Elizabeth, Coal City, was placed on supervision for six months and fined $250 for battery. He was charged Jan. 1, 2010, with punching Adam Cinotti in the face.
