Clear thinking liberals understand that Obamacare is dead. His next attempt to destroy Capitalism and the American economy will be the Cap and Trade Bill (HR2454).
The Cap and Trade Bill, sponsored by our loony liberal on a leash from the 11th congressional district, has passed the House and is awaiting Senate passage.
If this bill passes and Obama signs it into law, by his own admission, electric rates will triple. Illinois has four major refineries in this state that are responsible for 45 percent of all emission regulations. These additional costs will be passed on to the consumer.
Saudi Arabia has three refineries under construction, scheduled for production in 2014. Refined petroleum products will enter this country free of the oppressive Carbon tax. US refineries will either close or move to a foreign country and those thousands of American jobs will disappear.
Alternative energy is not realistic. 1000 wind turbines covering 36 square miles will produce the mega watts of one nuclear generator, provided the wind is blowing. We can evade reality, but we can not evade the consequences of evading reality.
