Marseilles motorist charged with DUI and other violations

MARSEILLES police arrested a man on a DUI charge early Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Avery Butherford, 32, Marseilles, was arrested near N.2653 and E. 2350th roads.

Marseilles police stopped Butherford for speeding and driving with an expired registration.

He did not have an insurance card and officers determined he appeared intoxicated.

Also ticketed for speeding, not having insurance and driving with an expired registration, Butherford was given a notice to appear in court and released.
