A NEWARK woman was not injured when she went off Nelson Road and struck a tree about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Deputy Chad Hrechko reported Alison Wesseh, 27, 128 Canal St., Newark, was eastbound on Nelson Road when she lost control of her Ford on the snow covered roadway.

The car went off the south side of the road and struck a tree in the yard of Deron Heap, 585 W. Nelson Road.

The tree was destroyed and Wesseh’s car was towed from the scene.
