Dr. Burt initiated into ACS in October

Local plastic surgeon among 1,259 in world to receive recent honor

CHICAGO — Dr. Tripti Burt was among 1,259 initiates from around the world who became Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) during convocation ceremonies at the College’s 95th annual Clinical Congress in Chicago in October.

Dr. Burt received her medical doctorate degree in 1997 from the University of Nebraska.

In 2003, Dr. Burt attained board certification from the American Board of Surgery.

Her second board certification was attained in 2006 from the American Society of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Burt has a strong professional interest in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, as well as laser treatment of the skin.

She currently practices at Morris Hospital, Edward Hospital and several ambulatory surgical centers in the area.

Dr. Burt also  lectures across the country on the latest in laser treatments.
