MORRIS POLICE arrested Trent Neville, 34, Morris, on several charges about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, March 7.

Neville was charged with felony unlawful use of a credit card, criminal trespass to a vehicle, misdemeanor theft and driving with a suspended license. He was taken to the county jail for a court appearance.

Officer Charles Newton reported he saw Neville driving in the 2800 block of N. Division Street about 3:30 a.m. The officer knew Neville's license was suspended.

He reported stopping Neville and confirming his license was suspended. Officer Newton reported he then determined that Neville was driving the vehicle without the permission of the owner.

During a patdown search following his arrest, police found Neville had a credit card that did not belong to him. It was then determined he had used the credit card to buy cigarettes at Walmart.

MLB preview: Detroit Tigers
