Kyle Kappeler, 19, 185 Division St., Coal City, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail and fined $250 for domestic battery. He was charged with punching a family member in the face.

An assault charge for swinging at Catherine Kappeler and resisting police charge for closing a door in the face of Coal City Officer David Moran were dismissed. He was charged Feb. 17.

Edward Braxton, 34, Joliet, was placed on supervision for one year and fined $695 for possession of 10 to 30 grams of marijuana. He was charged Dec. 30 by Illinois State Police on Interstate 55. Tickets for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident were dismissed.

William Tatum, 28, 17 Alder, Minooka, was placed on supervision for six months and fined $275 for driving with a suspended license. He was charged Nov. 2 at Ridge Road and Mondamin Street, Minooka. Tickets for not having proof of insurance and making an improper turn were dismissed. March 11 tickets for not wearing a seat belt and not having proof of insurance were also dismissed.

Enrique Reyes, 20, Joliet, was fined $600 for not having insurance and not having a valid license. He was charged Dec. 30 at Ridge Road and Misty Creek Drive.

John Higgins, 24, 855 Covey Lane, Coal City, was placed on supervision for one year and fined $250 for going 44 in a 30 mph zone Feb. 14 on Carbon Hill Road.

Placed on supervision for 90 days and fined $185 each for speeding were: Michael Krone, 22, Carbon Hill; Junellen Boyd, 57, 113 S. North, Coal City; Lindsey Male, 23, Coster Road, Gardner; Kyle Greaves, 18, 3785 Primrose; Tiffany Brighum, 23, 2316 Ashland; Debra Lampe, 58, 4150 Bargo Lane; Ryan Freer, 18, 2460 Division, Diamond.

Brandon Nichols, 16, Minooka, was placed on supervision for 90 days and ordered to attend driver's school for making an improper turn Dec. 15 at Ridge Road and U.S. 6.

Tickets for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, not wearing a seat belt and not having a valid registration were dismissed against Blake Eyre, 31, 212 Shawnee, Minooka. He was charged Nov. 28 on Wabena.
