• Horace Cooper, 26, of Peoria, Ill., was sentenced to 18 months in the Department of Corrections with 2 days credit for a felony charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Dec. 4, 2009. He was also fined.

• Mario Gutierrez, 24, 703 N. Division St., was convicted to unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, fined and given 30 months probation.

• Latora Lawrence, of Chicago, pleaded guilty to forgery, a Class 3 felony, for a April 9, 2009, incident. She was fined and given 30 months conditional discharge.

• Lisa Growe, 39, of Coal City, was fined $75 for disobeying a traffic control device on July 11.

• Brett King, 57, of Minooka; James Osborne, 25, 114 W. Main St.; and Monique Cruz, 27, of Minooka, were fine for failure to wear a seat belt as a driver.

• A charge of not having driver’s license on person July 3 was dismissed against Byron Beideman, 42, of Diamond.
