Jeffrey Mohr Erickson

SENECA — Mr. Jeffrey Mohr Erickson, 48, of Seneca, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Morris Hospital.

Jeffrey was married at Daytona Bike Week to his love, Lenore (Sokolinski) of Morris. They shared joy in their three children, Alice, 22, Nicole, 18, and Maxwell, 11.

Born May 12, 1962, in Harvey, Ill., Jeffrey was the son of the late Earl Erickson and Shirley Erickson, currently of Monee, Ill. He was raised in Hazel Crest, Ill.

Jeffrey is the youngest brother to his sister, Margo (Terry) Conway of Tinley Park, Ill., and his two brothers, Roger Erickson of Monee and John (Sharon) Erickson of Tinley, Park. Jeffrey was blessed to have many nieces, nephews and cousins that will always hold him dear in their hearts.

Jeffrey Erickson was a brother and member of the Local 150 Operating Engineers Union. He was employed by Metrolift, Inc. in Sugar Grove for the past three years. Prior to that, he was an employee at Illinois Truck and Equipment of Morris.

Jeffrey and his wife, Lenore, owned and operated Erickson's Signs and Designs of Seneca for the past five years. Jeffrey gave to his community through volunteering on the Seneca Car Show Committee, and through donations and help to the schools in any way he could. He was also a member at Woodsmoke Ranch in Seneca, where he will be greatly missed.

For anyone that knew Jeffrey, he was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many, near and far. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, sharing this love with his wife. He was taken from this life too early, but he led a full, happy life with his family and friends. His only regret would be he wasn't still here with them today.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at U.C. Davis & Sons Funeral Home, 301 W. Washington St., Morris.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at U.C. Davis & Sons Funeral Home.
