Ransom motorist charged with DUI

A RANSOM driver was arrested by La Salle County sheriff deputies Saturday, July 24, following an incident in Otter Creek Township in the Streator area.
Ryan T. Armstrong, 20, was cited with improper parking on a roadway, illegal transportation of alcohol, and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Deputies said Armstrong’s car was found parked on North 14th Road, just west of East 21st Road. He was transported to the La Salle County Jail in Ottawa to await a bond hearing.
