Morris woman turns herself in for failure to appear

A MORRIS resident turned herself in to Morris police on Tuesday, Aug. 24, after failing to show for a court date.

Karissa Bernal, 29, was wanted on a Grundy County warrant citing her with failure to appear for contempt of court.

She posted $2,000 cash bond for her release, and 3 was issued a new court date of 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15.
