ICS students learn about the saints
Each school year, the classes at Immaculate Conception School choose a patron saint. The students then study the life of their patron saint. The saint’s life serves as a good role model for the members of the class.
On All Saints Day, one member of the class dresses as the class patron saint. At the All Saints Day Mass, the saint representatives from each class process in to church.
During the Mass, the students portraying their class patron saint are called forward and a short biography of the saint is read. Students are challenged to live their lives in the spirit of these saints.
