Keegan J. Lewis

Mr. Keegan J. Lewis, 32, of Morris, passed away Thursday evening, March 29, 2011, at his home.

Born July 24, 1978 in Bremerton, Wash., Keegan was the son of Valerie Lewis.

He graduated from Joliet Central High School with the class of 1997 and attended DeVry Institute in Chicago.

He was employed as a computer consultant for many years.

Survivors include his loving mother, Valerie and Michael Brewer of Morris; two aunts, Sheila (Tod) Johnson and Penny (Brad) Hexdall, both of Morris; cousins, Technical Sgt. Jared (Yvonne) Johnson of Idaho, Kalin Johnson and David Hexdall, both of Morris; beloved pets, Yogi and Peanut.

Keegan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Mary Jane Lewis.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 1024.

Keegan was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with his pet boxers.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St., in Morris. There will be no funeral service.

Michael Brewer, Harold “Chuck” Charles, Aric Fick, Technical Sgt. Jared Johnson, Kalin Johnson and David Hexdall will be honorary pallbearers.
