Livingston County board rejects factory hog farm proposal
Grundy County isn't the only one waging a debate over proposed hog farms.
The Livingston County Board overwhelmingly rejected Thursday night a proposal by Patrick Harms to construct two factory hog facilities near the Village of Saunemin.
The vote was 18-4 to deny both facilities, which would house approximately 4,500 hogs each.
