Referendum seeks opportunity for lower electricity rate

Voters in Channahon will get to decide whether or not the village of Channahon will implement an electric aggregation ordinance, which allows the village to seek bids for lower electricity rates. Trustees agreed to put the question on the March 20, 2012 ballot.
