60th anniversary: Schultz

Jim and Emma Schultz of Gardner celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

A special song was played to honor their anniversary while attending their granddaughter’s wedding on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts on Nov. 11, 2011.

Jim Schultz and the former Emma Hibler were married on Dec. 1, 1951, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in South Wilmington.

They are parents of six children: Jim and Terri Schultz of Gardner; John and Susan Schultz of South Wilmington; Susan and Rick Myrick of Gardner; Wayne Schultz of Gardner; Pete and Cindy Schultz of Gardner; and Shawn Schultz of Gardner.

The also have nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The couple are lifetime farmers. Jim is also a retired Local 75 laborer.

They enjoy spending time with their family.
