I have been reading the articles in your newspaper regarding VAC, and I just want to voice my feelings about my husband’s experience with Elton Monson at VAC.

My husband is an Army veteran and he served at the Battle of the Bulge and naturally he is up in age. Whenever he needed assistance, he called VAC, and Elton Monson handled each problem as a professional and also with the utmost compassion and respect.

My husband never once had a problem getting through to talk to Mr. Monson. I just feel that it is unfair that Elton Monson is being criticized for doing a darn good job and I sincerely hope that he will be able to maintain his position and continue helping veterans as he has done so well in the past.

$170,000 a year budget. His wages, girlfriends wages, gf mothers wages and all benefits including cell phones for personal use $145,000 a year. For over a decade. Glad to hear Elton had time to talk to your husband every time he called, priceless. Does blind sheep mean anything to so many that deserve better?
