Cars collide at local car wash
Jacob J. Meyerhoff, 19, of Minooka, an employee of Dolphin Car Wash in Morris, told Morris Police a vehicle in the “tunnel” of the car wash was finished with the wash and stopped in the tunnel Friday, Dec. 23. Meyerhoff said there was an automatic shifter on the steering wheel.
When the employee entered the vehicle to move it from the tunnel to be wiped down, he flipped the shifter to drive. The vehicle lurched forward and struck a second vehicle waiting to be wiped off.
