Jeanette L. Garner, 42, of Wilmington, pleaded guilty to a charge of using a cell phone in a construction zone. She was fined $195 and given 90 days court supervision.

Lacortland A. Stewart pleaded guilty to an Aug. 10, 2009 charge of possession of cannabis, between 10 and 30 grams, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. In addition, he was given two years conditional discharge and fined $565. Charges of manufacturing/delivering cannabis and additional charges of possession were dismissed pending the plea agreement.

Andrew M. Purdy, 24, of Coal City, pleaded guilty to a June 30 charge of driving under the influence of drugs. He was also sentenced to two years of court supervision, counseling, Victim Impact Panel and fined $1,080. Charges of possession of cannabis, drug paraphernalia and not wearing a seat belt were dismissed pending the plea agreement.

Kodi M. Meyer of Diamond, pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit in a school zone and was fined $100. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and having no insurance were dismissed pending the plea agreement.

David E. Adamick, 25, 940 Shabbona St. was fined $195 and sentenced to 90 days court supervision for a Dec. 26 charge of unlawful parking.

Multiple counts of deceptive practice for allegedly writing bad checks to several local businesses were dismissed against Stephen J. Potter, 48, 235 S. Gorham Road.

Lawrence M. Levandowski Jr., 20, of Wilmington, pleaded guilty to a Dec. 19 charge of criminal trespass to land. He was sentenced to two year conditional discharge, 14 days in jail, fined $165 and ordered to stay away from 525 Trotter Drive in Coal City. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor were dismissed pending the plea agreement.
