GARDNER, Ill. — Mrs. Eleina Katherine Douglas, 99, a life-long resident of Gardner, Ill., passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 28, 2012, at Walnut Grove Village in Morris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. in Reeves Funeral Home, 203 Liberty St., Gardner. Pastor Jan Chandler from Church of Hope will officiate.

A private family inurnment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Dwight, where Eleina will be laid to rest next to her husband, Alvin.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Eleina’s memory to The Church of Hope, 202 Monroe Street, Gardner, Ill., 60424.
