WILMINGTON, Ill. — Mrs. Helen Marie Jackson, 90, of Wilmington, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris, Ill.

Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon in Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, Wilmington. The Rev. Chris Beamsley from Grace Lutheran Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Wesley Cemetery, Wesley Township, Wilmington.

Born Aug. 18, 1921, in Blue Island, Ill., Helen was a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Kissell-Shramek. She married Harold A. Jackson, and he preceded her in June of 1995.

Helen was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Wilmington, and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her children, Charles (Leslie) Jackson of Wilmington, Beverly (Bill) Bowen of Largo, Fla., Lois (Chris) Smith of Wilmington, and Edward (Marcia) Jackson of Creal Springs, Ill.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; as well as her sister-in-law, Helen (the late Melvin) Jackson of Wesley Township.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; one brother; and two sisters.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Helen's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
